"I go to Indianapolis every year, to see the the Indy 500. I go there with friends to drive and race. Every year when they go there to qualify, they usually have to go as fast as they possibly can to get a front row position. They put nitro in their cars sometimes instead of the fuel that's intended to be in the cars, so that the cars will go faster. And they do, for 5 or 10 laps... then they blow all to Hell." - Evel Knievel

Interesting combination.
Connected??
Please let me follow up --
Initially, I thought this chicky/picture was another tribute to Sarah. One sample of Renee's work on amazon, and I plugged www.reneeolstead.com into the browser to see what I'd get. What I got was Radio Renee (or the like) and an impossibly mature voice, with an incredible ear for timing, and lovely range/skill in her voice. All this and she's only 15.
The tongue-tied, lispy overtone is interesting - feminine.
Might I just say... Holy Crap! (My honest first reaction.) This is splendid work. I just placed a hold.
Nice find, Mr. Lord.
(They compare her to Michael Buble; yet after really listening to Buble ( and I do like his genre and voice ) you can hear his age, or lack thereof. In her, so far, I don't hear it.)
Nice 'finish' to a lovely evening, Cuore
P.S. Why does her singing bring to mind Marilyn Monroe???
You lost me after the part about her being only 15!!!!!!!!
What the?
and... "chicky/picture was another tribute to Sarah"? What? I do that because Sarah demands it of me!
I know...
And I'm sure she finds it a touching honor.
